The subtitle for this Powerpoint is “Our Journey is not a Straight Path ... It’s a Meander.” This lecture explores many of the “meanders” or mentors that have influenced my work over the past 50 years: books, teachers, travel, study groups, computer programs, looms, exhibitions, binary code, writing. Slides document my work from the earliest overshot pieces woven on a rented floor loom to my current studies in Kumihimo, Block Design, and Rep Weave. Teaching others has become one of the biggest rewards for me as to Why We Weave.
